For a long time now, we have been on the lookout for suitable premises as our base and to hold an archive of Josefina's works and writings, as well as to develop projects she started and encourage and kick-start new ones, both here and abroad. A person coming with a new project will not find that we want to "take over" or take credit for it. Just the opposite, we want to encourage, uplift their confidence, give practical support, and help to that individual or group, enabling them to trouble-shoot their ideas and go forward to fill fruition in their own right, becoming freestanding, so that they in turn can benefit others. We seek to be a vehicle for helping them go forward and not to control them. We look forward to welcoming people to join in and bring new ideas into the Trust, with the intent to make a difference for a better tomorrow. In each instance, to summarize, one person, one idea and a difference in many lives. Our major and most urgent target now is to create a local base, at last, for the J de V Arts Care Trust, in the form of a gallery to display some of Josefina's works of art as well as the work of those from local schools and by unknown individual artists. In the same building, we intend to have a teaching room to develop individual skills and talents in the areas of art and caring. There will be a small gift shop including the sale of works of art, giving opportunities to local established artists and budding new ones.
