Location:
The Golf Course is located to the east of the town of Workington, most easily approached from off the A66 from the M6 and Keswick. After passing Cockermouth turn left onto the A595 signed for Whitehaven. Two miles on turn right as signposted at the roundabout next to the Eddie Stobart depot. The course is some 25 miles west from Junction 38 (Penrith) on the M6.
Other Attractions:
The course is set on the fringe of the Lake District with Ennerdale Water, Crummock Water , Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake nearby. The towns of Workington, Whitehaven, Cockermouth and Keswick are all within easy reach and if you wish to combine golf at Workington with another round , the joys and challenges of Silloth, Seascale, Whitehaven, Maryport and Cockermouth Golf Courses are not too far away.
Among hotel options in the vicinity are the Melbreak Hotel, Hunday Manor Hotel, Washington Central in Workington town centre, The Clifton Hotel at Clifton, the Trout Hotel and Allerdale Court Hotel in Cockermouth and a Travel Inn located near Whitehaven and a new TraveLodge at Cockermouth.
