Tribute to the rescuer of Ernest Shackleton.
Piloto Luis Pardo was a Chilean Navy hero who rescued Sir Ernest
Shackleton's crew from Elephant Island in April 24, 1916, after
the explorers went on an ill-fated Imperial Trans-Antarctic

2010: FORTITUDE This is the design
created by Shawn for a nine foot high sculpture for Duluth on
Lake Superior. The work is a community project which will develope
a Heritage training programme for young people. |

2009: Shawn Williamson has recently completed a peace symbol,
incorporating a dove, for a church in Kansas, USA and is working
with the World Wildlife Fund to complete a 10ft statue of a bear.
Shawn, however, has his sights set on an even larger project. He
is hoping to carve a 20ft face of Jesus Christ onto a rock face
somewhere in the UK. Shawn has been exploring possible sites but
is keen to hear from anyone with suggested locations, or anyone
who would like to sponsor this huge work of faith.
