Keswick 2 Barrow Walk: 11 May 2013
The Keswick to Barrow (K2B) Walk is a 40 mile sponsored team stroll through some of the country’s finest landscapes. Teams of between 6 and 12 walkers test themselves on a challenging route, to raise money for charities and good causes.

The Fred Whitton Challenge: 12 May 2013
A gruelling 112 mile sportive challenge ride for charity. Starting & finishing at Coniston the route includes the climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes.

Keswick Sportive: 18 May 2013
A challenge for all levels of cyclist with a choice of three routes of differing distances and difficulty. The main route comprises the passes of Whinlatter, Newlands & Honister each one climbed twice & from a different direction!

Brathay to Windermere Marathon: 19 May 2013
Following a course which is a complete circuit of Windermere, England's largest lake, the Brathay Windermere Marathon takes in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness and Waterhead.

Scafell Trail Marathon: 19 May 2013

Lakeland Trails Helvellyn: 2 November 2013
A stunning 15km or 10km course taking in dramatic mountain views skirting the slopes of Helvellyn. This course will both test and exhilarate you. Why not make a dirty trail running weekend of it and enter Sunday's Ullswater Trail too and take part in the "Dirty Double".

Lakeland Trails Finale: 3 November 2013
The 14km Ullswater Trail (Race & Challenge), and the 10km Ullswater Trail Run follow a course along "the most scenic lakeside trail in the UK".

Kendal Mountain Festival: 14 - 17 November 2013
‘Kendal’ is the biggest event of its type in the world and it’s the main social event for outdoor enthusiasts in the UK.
