Keswick 2 Barrow Walk: 11 May 2013
The Keswick to Barrow (K2B) Walk is a 40 mile sponsored team stroll through
some of the countrys finest landscapes. Teams of between 6 and 12
walkers test themselves on a challenging route, to raise money for charities
and good causes.
The Fred Whitton Challenge: 12 May 2013
A gruelling 112 mile sportive challenge ride for charity. Starting &
finishing at Coniston the route includes the climbs of Kirkstone, Honister,
Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes.

of Whinlatter, Newlands & Honister each one climbed twice & from
a different direction!
Brathay to Windermere Marathon: 19 May 2013
Following a course which is a complete circuit of Windermere, England's
largest lake, the Brathay Windermere Marathon takes in Hawkshead, Newby
Bridge, Bowness and Waterhead.
